The practice is led by Matthew McDonald. He served as SVP of Engineering at Nasuni, where he grew engineering from 20 to 150+ people, enabling revenue growth from $10M to $150M+ ARR. Vista Equity Partners acquired Nasuni for $1.2B in 2024.
He has spent 25 years in enterprise infrastructure and distributed systems. Before Nasuni, he held senior engineering roles at EMC and was an early engineer at Archivas, acquired by Hitachi Data Systems. He was granted 9 US patents.
